I watched this keynote by Vandana Shiva tonight and was very impressed. Being aware that I've been living under a rock for centuries, I was still surprised that her name did not ring a bell to me.
I'll plan to quote her introductory sentence in my upcoming talk at #RMLL:
yet another proof that when people work together they are a wonderful substitute for capital.
Let that sink in.
